St.Ann's College of Education is a Catholic minority Institution managed by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Ann whose Generalate is in Rome.The general body of the Association shall consist of all former students of St. Ann's College of Education including the present teaching staff of the college. 2.St. Ann's College of Education is a premier institution for teacher education in India and the college began its journey in the year 1943.The Founder was Smt. Thatipatri Gnanamma; a visionary and missionary who dedicated her life to enlighten and educate poor young girls.St. Ann's College of Education is affiliated to Osmania University and the college receives grants-in-aid from the Andhra Pradesh State Government.
